Ingredients
Frozen Dough
Pepperoni, cut up
Mozzarella Cheese, grated
Garlic Salt or Garlic Powder
Pizza Sauce (or ranch!) for dipping
First, you start with premade dough. You can find this in the freezer section at your local grocery store. (Make sure you give yourself time to follow the manufacturer's directions for thawing out the dough.)
Once the dough is thawed, using your hands or a rolling pin, make a rectangular shape. Cut the dough using a pizza cutter.
Take one of the sections that you just cut and flatten it as much as you can. Add the cheese, then pepperoni.
Fold over one of the sides.
Fold over the other side, then the top and the bottom.
Roll the ball in the palm of your hands. Then pinch the top of the dough so everything is held together tightly.
Roll the ball again.
Sprinkle with Garlic Salt or Garlic Powder. Spray a cookie sheet with oil. Bake for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees, depending on your oven. Let cool.
Display on your Wooden Whale dining table or island top!
Dough balls don't require a lot, but are versatile. Try them with chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and crumbled up graham crackers for a sweet treat. What would you try in your dough balls? Tell us below.
*Make sure to use a cutting board if your island top is not treated for cutting.
